Louise is an expert in the history of Black Americans, race and money. She is writing a book on this topic, “The Black Dollar” to be published by HarperCollins, and she developed and teaches a course on it at Yale University.

In her media leadership roles, Louise puts diversity at the center of her practices. While at Dow Jones/The WSJ, she was widely praised for her leadership on diversity, and she was responsible for changing The Journal’s practices to welcome broader audiences. She launched numerous WSJ diversity-focused content products.
